Prince -OR- Princess

If you haven't heard the Royal Couple is expecting baby #2.  Will Prince William and Princess Kate be adding a prince or princess to the Royal family?!?

AND in other news, the Kings will be adding a PRINCE or PRINCESS to their palace in the red clay.

Heath and I are beyond thrilled, anxious and a little nervous about becoming parents!!  So far the pregnancy has been going very well and baby and mom are healthy.  I am still exercising regularly, mostly running and taking Coalie on hikes.  I have also been lucky enough to convince Heath to wait until Baby King makes it's grand enterance into this world before we find out if we will have a little PRINCE or PRINCESS!!

It's funny how some people we tell that we're waiting cannot imagine the idea of not knowing the sex.  Some people can't imagine not being able to plan ahead based on sex but I truely don't feel like knowing the sex will help us be any better preparded for the extreme life-altering event that is about to occur!  Instead I feel like it keeps the excitement elevated and I can't imagine a greater surprise in our adults lives!  It also doesn't allow us the chance to become anxious about our abilities to raise one sex or the other.  And beyond that, I very much look forward to the calls to our family members and friends revealing the news...Prince or Princess, Son or Daughter, Grandson or Granddaughter, Neice or Nephew!!

Overall, our anatomy screen at 20 weeks went very well.  Baby is hitting all of the markers as expected.  The baby does have a Choroid Plexus Cyst in the brain but our doctor has reassured us that all other tests and measures indicate that this is an anomaly that will completely clear up.  We will have another ultrasound at week 28 to verify this.  From what we have learned the choroid plexus cyst is present in the non-thinking portion of the brain where the cerebral spinal fluid is made and is somewhat like a blister, not a defect of the brain itself.  The babie's body should reabsorb the fluid with no long term issues.
