As co-host to one of my mother's fabulous showers, there was plenty of prep work to be done, so being the wonderful men they are, the boys found something else to do...
They really weren't interested in helping since they went ice fishing despite the negative temps with even greater negative wind chills.
Essentials to setting up a good morning on the ice proved to work.
Unfortunately, the boys did not fillet their catches so we were forced to find a fish fry. Luckily, that's pretty easy to find in SE Wisconsin and we ended up at the festive Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee. We enjoyed our delicious fish fry in a German-style hall complete with a polka band and polka dancing!
The next day was shower day and we hit the ground running which resulted in my mother's beautifully designed party...
